Kimberlee Joi Adkins, MD

Description

Kimberlee Adkins, M.D., earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her internal medical residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She is a fellow in the American College of Physicians and current co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Dr Adkins was a hospitalist for approximately seven years before practicing primary care in 2018. She enjoys educating her patients about disease prevention and management. Dr. Adkins provides a compassionate approach to her patients when discussing their concerns and conditions, and encourages them to advocate for themselves. Dr. Adkins lives in Howard County with her husband and daughter.
